As an industry leader, Brian Enders, Vice President of Walbec, testified before the Subcommittee on Highway and Transit in the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC. He was invited to discuss the Buy America Provisions on behalf of the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA). Brian effectively explained the process of making asphalt and how the aggregate and asphalt binder mixture can be customized for specific regions, traffic patterns, and weather conditions. He also highlighted the recyclability of asphalt, making it the most recycled product in the United States. 

By promoting the reuse of asphalt, the industry can become more sustainable and reduce carbon emissions. Brian’s written and verbal testimony showcased his exceptional advocacy for our industry and the commendable work done by Walbec.
