The Position:

Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, this position oversees all warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

  • Provide guidance to and supervise Warehouse Clerks and Delivery Drivers.
  • Develop and maintain regular truck routes for all drivers. Integrate special pick-ups and deliveries as required daily. Continuously monitor progress to ensure schedule commitments are met.
  • Generate and process transfer, shipping, return and repair paperwork for use by Warehouse Clerk.
  • Communicate with customers and vendors to coordinate shipments and pick-ups and gather customer satisfaction data.
  • Compile customer feedback, develop plans, and refine processes to improve the customer experience.
  • Establish storage best practices by identifying and locating stock to achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Schedule, organize and conduct regular inventories.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between physical stock and records.
  • Adhere to company safety policies including, but not limited to, equipment operation, material storage and the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ensure warehouse and stockrooms are secure at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas.

The Candidate:

  • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, other software applications and technology.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for solving problems.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Detail oriented with superior organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous warehouse supervision experience preferred.
