Comprehensive Reconstruction: Reconstructed the entire track, including the long jump, triple jump, and pole vault areas.

Specialized Materials & Techniques:

• Installed drain tile and geogrid for enhanced drainage.
• Used specialty asphalt mixes, including virgin polymer-modified oil, to meet strict WIAA slope and density specifications.
• Avoided recycled materials, utilizing natural sand and gravel for superior quality.
• Managed structural spray application for the track’s polyurethane top layer.

Innovative Solutions:

• Designed a custom tracking pad to help with production efficiency, which is often a challenge when paving in a circle.
• Worked with the client to access the project site safely without risking damage to the parking lot we paved the previous year.
• Adjusted the stormwater pond to accommodate new drain tile systems.
• Protected the new in-field turf while meeting project demands.

Collaboration Across Plants: Sourced and split 1,200 tons of asphalt from two locations to maintain efficiency and meet tight specifications.
