Walbec successfully delivered a major agricultural infrastructure upgrade for Sunny Slope Dairy, achieving the primary goal of constructing a 65,000 SF asphalt feed pad, gravel drives, and storm piping to boost storage capacity.
Despite weather-related setbacks, including heavy rain that flooded trenches mid-project, the team completed the work a full week ahead of the September harvest deadline.
Seamless collaboration between the heavy civil general contracting and asphalt teams enabled swift responses to client requests, ensuring project adaptability. The expanded feed pad provided the client with greater on-site storage, directly supporting their operational objectives. This project exemplified Walbec’s expertise in managing entire projects—from earthwork to final construction.
